Buying the Friday Test

How do I book a Friday Test?

Ordering is not yet open. When it opens, you will describe your business and add relevant documents, photos and short videos in the order form, then accept the B2B Terms and Friday Test Scope and pay. Successful payment will confirm the order immediately, with email confirmation and a receipt. An enquiry is optional.

What do I actually get for £150?

A business-specific operational scorecard, written diagnosis and priorities, with practical first steps and a suggested 30-day order of action. It makes evidence gaps and assumptions clear. The report stands on its own: you can use it with your own team, and further services are optional. Final payable pricing and tax information will be shown before ordering opens.

Can I see an example report?

Yes. Read the sample Friday Test report to see the findings, priorities and 30-day order of action. It uses a clearly fictional venue and illustrative evidence. Your report is written around your business and the agreed review scope.

Who is Friday Ready for?

Business customers running restaurants, pubs, cafés, hotels and catering operations. The buyer must have authority to purchase for the contracting business.

Do you work internationally?

Yes. Friday Ready is UK-based and works remotely with hospitality businesses worldwide within the published service scope and available territories. Any confirmed country restrictions must be clear before purchase. Prices are in GBP; your payment provider may apply currency-conversion charges. Local legal and regulatory requirements need appropriate local verification.

Evidence and your report

What evidence will you need?

Useful material may include a menu, anonymised rota, prep sheets, checklists, procedures, stock or waste records, clear photos of paperwork and short operational videos. Add relevant evidence in the order form before payment. Tell us about missing records too. The review allowance and upload limits will be shown before ordering opens.

What if our records are incomplete?

Tell us what exists and what is missing. You do not need to create records just to order the Test; explain how the team works now. We make evidence gaps clear, ask for anything else needed and confirm the next step. Missing information may limit what can be assessed or affect the delivery timetable.

How can you review a venue remotely?

Your answers and relevant evidence show how the operation is organised and where pressure builds. We compare what you describe with the records, photos and short videos, then make findings, assumptions and gaps visible. A remote review cannot observe every condition or verify everything that happens in the venue.

What do the scores mean?

Each area score appears beside a plain-English explanation of the evidence and the issues needing attention. An area without enough usable evidence is marked “Not assessed”, rather than given a zero or a confident score. The scores do not establish inspection ratings, compliance or guaranteed results. The sample report uses fictional numbers to show this format.

When will I receive the diagnosis?

The normal report delivery window will be shown before ordering opens. Your delivery date is confirmed once the required answers and usable evidence are complete. The suggested 30-day order of action is for implementing priorities; it is separate from report delivery.

What does the 30-day order of action mean?

It is a suggested sequence for tackling the priorities over the next 30 days. It is part of your report, rather than a promise that every issue will be resolved in that time. The delivery timetable for receiving the report is separate.

Can I upload staff or customer information?

Remove unnecessary identifiers. Do not send sensitive personal information, CCTV or identifiable staff/customer footage unless we have separately agreed necessity and suitable arrangements. Read the upload declaration and Privacy Notice before sharing.

Practical work and ongoing support

Does the Test include finished procedures or working sheets?

The Test provides the diagnosis and recommendations. Venue-specific procedures, rota planners, prep sheets, logs and a full operating system are separate project work, quoted if you request it.

Do I have to start with the Friday Test?

No. The Test is useful when you want to understand the problems and priorities first. If you already know the work you need, you can approach us directly about a Friday Fix or Full Operations Build. Each project has a separately agreed scope and quote.

What does a Friday Fix actually give us?

We create the materials named in your quote and walk your managers through using them. That could be a prep planner and readiness check, a clearer shift plan, an ordering routine, task instructions or a manager action tracker. The work is tailored to your venue. Your quote confirms what is included, the instructions, remote handover, price and timetable.

What is a Full Operations Build?

A connected operating structure for the wider venue. The agreed build can bring together role ownership and decision limits, staffing and prep plans, ordering routines, briefs and handovers, and management checks. We organise the tools and instructions into a practical operating manual, with a phased introduction plan and agreed remote handover. Your managers introduce and supervise the changes.

The proposal confirms exact coverage, deliverables, timetable, revisions and price. Explore the Full Operations Build →

Who puts the changes into use?

Your managers introduce and supervise the changes. Friday Ready supplies the materials and remote handover described in the quote. Revisions, follow-up and ongoing review are included where stated in the project agreement.

What does work after the Test cost?

It depends on the tools, complexity and venues involved. You receive a written quote before work starts. Further work is optional, and there is no automatic subscription after the Test.

What do we get from Friday Partner?

Optional monthly support for working routines already in use: a review of the agreed records and progress, a short priority and action note, and updates to existing tools within the agreed package. Your quote confirms the schedule, support limits, revisions and monthly fee. New builds and wider redesigns are separately quoted. You can use the £150 Test report and act on it with your own team without buying monthly support.

Policies and responsibilities

Is this an inspection or compliance certificate?

No. The Friday Test is a remote operational review. It is not an official inspection, certification, statutory audit, legal opinion or formal HACCP validation. Verify local requirements with the relevant authority or qualified adviser.

Can you guarantee a rating, savings or results?

No. We make no guarantee about inspection ratings, compliance, revenue, profit, savings or other outcomes.

What happens if I cancel?

Ordering is not yet open. The cancellation and refund rules will be published with the final Terms and Friday Test Scope before payment is available.

Is urgent help included?

No. This is scheduled remote consultancy. Address urgent safety issues promptly with your managers and appropriate local competent people; do not wait for a routine report.
